Days of Work: Monday - Thursday (4 days per week). There is potential to increase to 5 days per week Monday - Friday.
Expected Hours: Not expected to fall below 40 hrs per week.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled REL Truck Driver (Ashcart) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting cardboard, paper & general waste from multiple customers safely and efficiently from various locations throughout Wales including but not limited to, Llandow, Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, Bridgend, Barry, St Athan, Penarth, Cardiff, Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Caerphilly, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage collection schedules effectively. You will be working alone, and so you must be a self-motivator and have a "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic.
Depending on the workload, you may be required to undertake additional Artic work should you possess the relevant qualifications.
Duties
Operate REL in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Empty bins, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Liaise with Main Office, reporting any issues with collections/deliveries.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on the road.
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is essential.
Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) is required, with a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
