Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver with there HIAB ticket to join our team. Dont have a HIAB ticket? We will pay your training for the chosen candidate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent vehicle condition. This role offers an opportunity to work with a reputable organisation committed to safety and efficiency, with a focus on HIAB and commercial driving operations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate HIAB lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to specified locations Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met Secure loads properly on flatbeds, ensuring cargo is stable during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies Communicate effectively with operations and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during driving duties

Requirements

Valid driving licence suitable for operating Class 2 HGV's and other 3.5t relevant vehicles Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as securing loads on flatbeds Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members A responsible attitude towards safety, punctuality, and customer service
Start date of employment: beginning of February 2026

41,500 per year

47.5 hours per week with optional overtime available. Monday - Friday 7am - 4.30pm

20 days holiday + bank holiday's per year.
