We\'re recruiting \xe2\x80\xa6 HGV Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers at our Leeds Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for flexibility in their life, we offer full time work schedules, and no overnights stays.

To the right applicant we can also provide the opportunity to up-skill your licence from Cat C to Cat C+E.

Contract - Full Time / Permanent

Location - Leeds Depot

Shifts - 5 days out of 7 including weekends

Salary - Starting from \xc2\xa313.30 Per Hour plus premiums

• Overtime paid at x1.12 basic rate
• Saturday paid at x1.125 basic rate, Sunday paid at x1.5 basic rate
• Additional 14.25 uplift of base rate for unsociable hours worked between 6PM - 4AM
• Customary/Public Holidays paid at x1.5

Role & Responsibilities

• Delivering milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres.
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Key skills & experience

• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self - motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
• HGV Class 2 Licence (LGV Cat C)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome, we will train and develop you to the necessary level
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role. Trolleys will be loaded and unloaded by the driver onto the vehicle.
