Founded on the Isle of Tiree in 1978 MacLennan Distribution (formerly MacLennan Motors) has grown into a recognised freight business throughout the West of Scotland. Operating from our depots in Oban we provide a variety of daily services throughout Argyll and the Islands.
About the Role
MacLennan Distribution is currently seeking a
Class 2
driver to join our growing team. Based at our depot in Oban, the role involves the delivery and collection of chilled and frozen goods throughout Argyll and the Islands, as well as collections from Glasgow.In addition to driving duties, you may be required to assist with general warehouse tasks, so a team-oriented attitude is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Uplifts from Glasgow Multi-drop deliveries across Argyll and the Islands Loading and unloading vehicles Assisting in the warehouse as needed
Requirements
Valid UK driving licence with
Category C (Class 2)
Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) Digital Tachograph Card Forklift experience is desirable but not essential - training can be providedWorking Hours
Monday to Friday Occasional evening or weekend shifts may be required
