Hgv Class 2 Driver
Job Description
We are looking for a Class 2 lorry driver to deliver our glass products i.e., double glaze units.
Responsibilities include:
Checking the vehicle before commencing run and after completing run and complete all relevant paperwork.
Loading the goods onto your vehicle.
Keeping accurate records of all deliveries.
Keeping accurate records of all collections and goods return notices.
Obtain signed results for all goods delivered.
Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, externally, and internally.
Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of loads in agreed timescales.
Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to.
Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules.
Ensuring that any issues encountered whilst on run are reported.
Ensuring awareness of safety procedures for goods loading and unloading.
The above list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform any other duties that any reasonably be expected of this position.
Qualifications:
Driver CPC (Required) Tachograph (Required) Driving: 1 year (Preferred) Full UK driving licence Excellent driving record Multidrop delivery experience (Preferred) Excellent knowledge of road transport laws
