Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various destinations. This role requires proficiency in operating flatbed vehicles and a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

Operate 7.5 ton and 12ton lorries for the safe transportation of goods to designated location. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage and fuel consumption. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatcher Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

Working for royal mail. Mostly one or two collections Training will be provided new drivers are welcome Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work independently demonstrating reliability and professionalism. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues. A valid commercial driving licence (CDL) is essential, along with a clean driving record.

Pay: 110.00-160.00 per day
