Up to 48 hours per week, Monday - Friday 4am starts

What you'll be doing;

Vehicle jet washing: Cleaning vehicles on a daily basis with the driving team. Including cleaning in readiness for MOT Inspection. Loading and Unloading: Handling materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are safely loaded and unloaded from vehicles and stored in designated areas. Yard Maintenance: Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and organised, including waste management and disposal. Stock Management: Keeping track of inventory, ensuring accurate records of materials entering and leaving the yard. Equipment Operation: Operating machinery such as forklifts and telehandlers, following safety procedures. Vehicle loading/unloading: May include loading and unloading bins in readiness for delivery or storage. Health and Safety: Ensuring all yard activities comply with relevant regulations and company standards, promoting a safe working environment. Basic Maintenance: Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as basic repairs. Waste Management: Ensuring proper disposal and recycling of waste materials according to company procedures. Other Duties: Assisting with tasks as required by the management team.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Fitness: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy items. Forklift Operation: Experience or willingness to learn how to operate forklifts and other yard equipment. Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to keep the yard organized, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records. Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues, customers, and supervisors. Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to health and safety regulations. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to yard operations. Daily vehicle checks: Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.

What we're looking for;

Class 2 (Cat C) licence Up to date CPC / Digi card A can do attitude and strong time management skills Being a team player is key. Forklift licence.
