Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient driving of a drain tanker, ensuring that all transport regulations are adhered to. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while on the road.

Duties

Operate and drive lorries to various locations in a timely manner. Ensure that all driving is carried out with transport regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (CPC) with appropriate endorsements for lorry operation. Proven experience as a driver or in commercial driving roles is preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
