HGV Class 2 Driver

We are East Anglian Galvanizing who are a part of the Wedge Group, leaders in galvanizing solutions. Our group has almost 150 years of experience and is the UK's largest hot dip galvanizing operation.
We are now seeking an HGV Driver to join our team in Sawtry with travel throughout East Anglia.

As an HGV Driver, you will be tasked with making multi-drop deliveries and collections of galvanized products or items to be galvanized at customer sites throughout East Anglia.

Making deliveries to repeat customers, you will build relationships and enable the business to thrive through your friendly service. You will drive a Class 2 HGV vehicle.

Specifically, you will:

Collect and return your vehicle to and from the Sawtry depot daily

Adhere to all road and health and safety rules and regulations

Complete deliveries in a timely manner

Collect goods to be galvanized from various customers

Excellent working hours

Provide a friendly level of service to customers

Experience with steel is a distinct advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.

This is a full-time role, working approximately 40 - 48 hours per week. This is primarily a Monday - Friday position. You may occasionally be required to work a Saturday morning if the business requires it.
