Hgv Class 2 Driver
Job Description
Due to our continuing expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for a HGV driver, to join our team. The successful candidate will have to possess a certain level of physical fitness, as they will assist the driver's mate with loading and unloading of goods.
To apply for this role you will need the following:
A clean valid Drivers Licence, with entitlement to drive Cat C HGV vehicle
no penalties or endorsements
Previous experience in is preferred but not essential.
Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude.
The job role of an HGV driver includes the following duties:
Operating commercial vehicles up to 18T.
Driving long or short distances
Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers
loading and unload goods
Lifting and carrying goods
Ensure loads are safely secured
Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
Completing delivery paperwork
Keeping up-to-date logbooks
Carrying out basic routine maintenance, such as oil, tyre and brake checks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.25 per hour
