We are a family firm from Suffolk, We are a FORS gold and CLOCs compliant company and our client is a market leader in the sale of specialist construction materials. Based in Darnall S9, Your role will be delivering multi drop between 8 to 12 drops a day to various construction sites around Yorkshire, Lancashire,The Midlands and all surrounding areas.

We are looking for a talented reliable individual with the correct licence category, Drivers qualification card , and digicard to join our highly skilled team, This isn't a job for everyone, This is a job for someone who likes to stay active and enjoys exercise and getting stuck in. We would like someone who can do their job responsibly and professionally but also enjoy a smile even with the challenges of daily driving that can entail.

The job also does include paperwork, keeping up to date with training courses and tool box talks which come with being the highly skilled professional driver that you are.

The truck is a flatbed rigid , not new , but well looked after. Load security is ratchet and straps hopefully you have used these before but full training will be given if not.

The hours are Monday to Friday which generally starts around 6am to 7am and generally finished by 5 some days longer, some days shorter depending on traffic etc etc. 8 hour Days ? yes, sometimes but we would rather tell you the worse case scenario than dress it up with tinsel and make out you'll be home by lunchtime.

This position is day work but if you in the unlikely event ever got caught short due to traffic, accidents etc we would put you up in a hotel for the evening.

Weekend work is available when required which is paid hourly overtime on top of your salary but if you never want to work a weekend you don't have to, it's voluntary its up to you.(spend time with your family)

The position is salary based the starting salary is 37,000 per annum, paid weekly. I must emphasise it is STARTING at 37,000

We train you and see how you go if you are a good of driver as you know you are, the money goes up after training we reward you on your own merits (why would you want to earn the same money as someone else who maybe not working as hard as you) Positive, hard working and can do attitudes always makes more money in our book.
