HGV Class 2 Driver

OTE - 31,976.16 per annum,

30,476.16 per annum + 125.00 monthly discretionary bonus.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY, HOURS BETWEEN 06:00AM - FINISH

48 HOURS PER WEEK, 48 HOURS PAID

Hannah Food Service is an independent, family-owned business supplying to the Wholesale, Food Service, and Fast-Food sectors across the UK.

We operate as a national wholesale and foodservice distribution business. We have a custom-built distribution premise with an integrated cold store and chiller and offer a wide range of products.

With over 44 years of service to the food catering industry we supply over 3000 core lines of products which has seen double digit growth year on year.

The Job:

We are looking to recruit an HGV Class 2 Driver within our operations division. This role is required to work Monday - Friday and is based at our Skelmersdale depot.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Vehicle daily walk around checks and defect reporting to the Transport Team Ensuring vehicles are kept presentable and always in line with company procedures. Following driver instructions - reporting anomalies Ensuring all related recording documents are completed in line with company procedure. Complying with appropriate company procedure in reporting and documenting accident and damage reports Reporting of customer issues to Customer services in line with company procedures Undertaking other duties as directed Handling cash payments from customers Using equipment such as PPT's Handballing stock to our customers
The Person:

Excellent communication and numeracy skills Strong team player Able to demonstrate a focus on great customer service and be dedicated to upholding the company's image and values. Be comfortable with accurate handling and accounting for cash. Ability to keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using delivery documentation. Have an exemplary vehicle and personal accident record. Be conversant with driver responsibilities under the Working Time and Tachograph regulations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold the following:

A full and Clean HGV Class 2 Drivers Licence A valid CPC card. A valid Digi tachograph drivers' card Experience of multi-drop deliveries (desirable)
