Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Operate curtain side lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely collection and distribution of goods. Secure cargo properly on flatbeds to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety guidelines during driving operations. Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably with curtain side vehicles. Valid UK driving licence suitable for the type of vehicle operated, with a no more of 3 points Experience in driving commercial vehicles, including knowledge of flatbed handling techniques. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
