Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.

Duties

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. . Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients. Overnight trips also available paid at 70.00 per night

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid HGV licence. Strong navigation skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail for safety checks and record keeping. Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues professionally.
