We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with Mixer driving, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations.

Duties

Operate Mixer lorries for the safe transportation of goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy. Load and unload cargo securely. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policy. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road, prioritising safety at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Familiarity with a Mixer lorry operations is highly advantageous. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues alike.
