Hgv Class 2 Driver
Job Description
Due to expansion, Gravel Pit Aggregates are seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 drivers to join our busy haulage and aggregate recycling company with trucks based in York, Castleford and Northallerton.
We are a young, friendly, family-run business and welcome applications from all self-motivated Class 1 or 2 drivers with a positive attitude to join our team.
Our ideal candidates will have:
Full, clean HGV Class 1 or 2 licence with up-to-date CPD and valid Driver Qualification Card.
Experience driving 8-wheeler tipper trucks is desirable, and we're happy to hear from less experienced candidates with a positive mindset and willingness to learn.
Excellent working knowledge of drivers' professional responsibilities. We are striving to maintain high standards within our fleet and depend on our drivers cooperation to achieve this.
The ability to work independently and as part of the team.
Excellent time management, reliability and good communication skills.
Be able to follow instructions and adapt to changing schedules with a positive attitude.
