Job Summary

Seeking a reliable driver to drive one of our Franchise 8 wheeled insulated tippers in the Coalville area (LE67) due to a new vehicle arriving.

We are looking for someone who has worked in one of the various leicestershire quarries, has a good geographical knowledge of the Midlands and experience in delivering both asphalt and dry aggregates

The work is as clean as it can get on a tipper, the truck is modern. Work is allocated and drivers are left to get on with their days work so looking for someone reliable, trustworthy and able to use their own initiative to crack on

Monday - Friday with the option to do every other weekend (when available) but no requirement to do so

PAYE

Pay structure is based on a basic salary with a % bonus

Expected hours are in region of 45 - 50 hours a week.

28 days paid holiday a year inclusive of Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

Completing daily checks, and ensuring vehicle safety at all times Abiding by driving and working time directives Following site rules, planned routes and ensuring all delivery instructions are followed

Requirements

1 Years class 2 driving experience & less than 6 points on licence to satisfy insurance requirements MPQC card and Safer Urban driving would be beneficial, however can arrange this Good communication skills and the ability to navigate different POD processes to suit job requirements , i.e; apps, paper tickets etc.
