Overview

We are looking for reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 driver to join our growing team, delivering food products to customers across London and surrounding areas on 7.2T/18T vehicles. This role includes manual handling/loading and unloading (handballing), so physical fitness is essential. Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries is required. The driver must be 25 years of age or older due to vehicle insurance requirements. Clear driving licence preferred; a minimum of 3 penalty points accepted.

Requirements

Hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence Valid Driver CPC Card and Digi tacho card Understand and comply with tachograph and driver's hours regulations. Proven experience as a driver, ideally delivering into customer premises, heavy lifting. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in changing situations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are secured for transport. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, conducting regular checks and reporting any maintenance issues. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in managing inventory by keeping accurate records of deliveries made. Hand Balling stock into customer sites with potential lifting up and down stairs.
