Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our transport team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills. A background in warehouse operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order and report any mechanical issues. Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transit. Communicate effectively with transport office and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 or 2 licence. Valid CPC/Driver Qualification Card. Valid tacho card. Experience in multidrop deliveries Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to safety standards and best practices in transportation logistics.

Hours of work : Monday - Friday 48 hours per week.
