Job Description

HGV Class 2 Driver required to join our local delivery operation as part of the Palletline network.

Ideally 2 years driving experience required, however, newly qualified drivers can also apply.

The weekly total time on duty is typically between 40 to 50 hours (this includes all breaks and other work etc.) - all hours are paid excluding one daily 45-minute break.

Previous experience would be an advantage but a full training package will be provided for the right candidate.

Immediate starts are available, an in-date CPC qualification, Digi Card and a Cat C licence is essential.

The Drivers duties include:

Adhering to Health & Safety rules on all sites we visit and wearing the appropriate PPE. Always representing the company in a professional way. Delivering and Collecting palletised loads as assigned by the Traffic Office. Load security to a high standard. Completing and recording daily vehicle checks on the drivers PDA. Punctuality and reliability are extremely important. Common sense is an essential requirement.
The right candidate must have their own transport and ideally live close to S12 2AX.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.70-13.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
