Eynesbury Plant Hire is a well-established and trusted family run business providing Plant Hire, Road Sweeper, and Crane Lorry Services across the region.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team on a zero-hours contract. The successful candidate will primarily operate our rigid lorry, transporting building materials to and from customer sites.

This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible, ad-hoc work -- you'll be covering driver absences and holidays, with as much notice as possible given for any shifts. We're happy to work around your availability and other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) rigid vehicle. Transport and deliver building materials to various sites. Ensure all loads are safely secured. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. Represent Eynesbury Group in a professional manner on-site and on the road.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence. Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card. Strong understanding of safe driving practices and load security. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Desirable:

Experience in Plant Hire, Road Sweepers, or Crane Lorry operations would be highly beneficial. Experience operating plant equipment (training can be provided).
