We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced

Class 2 Skip Driver

to join our Client based in

Redditch, Worcestershire (B97)

. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right experience and attitude.

Immediate Start

Day to Day Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry to transport goods to various locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit. You'll be needed to conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. We will need you to communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Necessary Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver, particularly with flatbed vehicles, is preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items. You will need to have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm Pay Rate 17.00PH ( 19.05ph Inclusive of Holiday Pay)
