Skip Driver HGV Class 2

Recycled Materials Supplies Ltd, a recycling specialist, delivers a highly accredited distribution service with a record of excellent customer feedback.

The fleet comprises Tipper/Grab, Roll-on/off, and Skip vehicles.

We have a blend of young and experienced drivers, and we aim to expand our fleet as we continue to grow, believing in empowering drivers to excel within our company.

You will be required to act as an ambassador for our company on customer sites, loading and unloading skips, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining attention to detail.

All applicants will need to live within a reasonable travelling distance from our skip yards, which are based in Charlton.

About you:

Skip loader experience required. A full and valid HGV driving licence, along with a CPC and Tachograph Card. No major endorsements on your licence. Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks when asked. Strong knowledge of tachograph regulations. Ability to carry out thorough daily walk-around checks and defect reporting. Have excellent concentration levels when driving and adhere to the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act. Be willing to learn and work within our industry-related accreditations

Responsibilities:

Work with the Transport Team to achieve customer expectations. Be able to complete company paperwork on a daily basis. Collecting skips from our range of customers without issues. Ensure that the vehicle's cleanliness is maintained at all times. Follow company procedure at all times.
