We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires expertise in commercial driving, and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Duties

Operate skip lorries to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, maintaining a high standard of safety at all times. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by the company. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving license (class 2). Proven experience as a skip driver, preferably with skip lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items and securing loads. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members.
