Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Duties

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections and basic mechanical maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel usage. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

Proven experience as a skip driver a must . Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. .must have a class 2 licence to drive a 18 ton skip lorry

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
