CLASS 2 SKIP DRIVER REQUIRED FOR BUSY WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY

Company Profile

We are a Waste Management company based in Romsey, Hampshire. We currently operate 15 and 18 tonne Skip Loaders, Hook Loaders, Grab Loaders, Tippers, Tractor Units and Ejector/Walking Floor Trailers and compaction trucks. We also have our own commercial workshop.

Job Details

Full training on all vehicles will be provided along with a company uniform and PPE. We are currently seeking a Skip Driver to join the team. You may also be required to drive other vehicle types (subject to your licence).

To provide the safe, reliable and effective delivery and collection service. To undertake the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook To ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and tablet and that they are handed in daily To comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads To ensure that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area. . To confirm to all applicable site rules when off loading at disposal sites. To carry out any other duties that may be required as directed by your line manager. To maintain a good relationship with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

Cat C (Class 2) licence Driver CPC is essential Digital Tacho Card Positive working attitude Good customer service skills Able to work from 6:30am and some Saturday Mornings.
