Job Overview
We are seeking a part time Class 2 Skip driver at our Wolverhampton based recycling centre, we only cover commercial customers, so no household deliveries.
Couple of days a week. may suit someone semi retired, or working around other commitments.
nice clean work, modern vehicles. must have no more than 6 penalty points.
Duties
Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all driving activities.
Requirements
Valid commercial driving licence class 2 with no more than 6 penalty points. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with skip lorry operations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
