Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our Concrete batching plant and covering our road sweeper. Drivers will be expected to travel around North Devon and surround areas to deliver Ready mix concrete, screeds and operate a road sweeper around sites in a safe an professional manner. The position is available from our Bideford Depot

Key Skill Requirements for driver

Deliver Ready mix concrete in a professional and friendly manner Ensure the most direct truck friendly route is taken Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out adequate daily checks. Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws Ensure all PODs are captured accurately Able to work on own initiative and part of a team Report any issues effectively and promptly to management Be able to work to a productive nature.
Qualifications and Skills For driver

Full driving licence Cat C, In date driver CPC and digital tachograph Sound geographical knowledge of Devon and be ale to use an atlas. Posses good literacy and numeracy skills. Have a reason able level of fitness Presentable, good attitude and polite. Loading shovel / telehandler experience beneficial but not essential.
