We are hiring

HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers

for ongoing drainage and wastewater operations in the

Slough area

.

This is a full-time, field-based role supporting both planned and emergency maintenance services on commercial and residential sites. Drivers will operate specialist jetting and vacuum tankers as part of a two-person team. The work includes light manual handling and the use of drainage equipment on-site -- full training is provided.

The position follows a 4-on / 4-off shift pattern with a minimum of 50 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and operate HGV Class 2 vacuum and jetting tankers Support field teams with hose setup and safe site operations Complete vehicle checks and operate equipment safely Follow site-specific risk assessments and safety procedures Respond to both scheduled jobs and urgent call-outs Maintain clear records using handheld job systems (training provided) Liaise with planners to ensure timely job completion Uphold professional conduct and communication on site

Requirements:

HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years' experience driving Category C vehicles Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Strong reliability, timekeeping, and safety awareness Previous drainage, tanker, or utilities experience is beneficial Flexible for occasional weekend or night work when required
