Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our expanding and enthusiastic team.

We operate 32t tippers and maintain a high level of quality throughout the business in both machinery and the people we work with.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial HGV class 2 driving licence and have experience in collections from Quarry's for HGV operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate Tipper HGV to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence 'Class 2' (C or equivalent) is essential. Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role, particularly with Tipper HGV. MPCQ qualified Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items when necessary. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. A clean driving record is preferred.
