We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Tipper driver to work out of our Melton Branch.

The successful applicant will be delivering general building materials around Leicestershire & Rutland.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes:

Reliable, hardworking and trustworthy

Physically fit

Have a positive attitude & willingness to learn

Have an up to date Driver CPC Certificate

Summary

As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will utilize your core skills in commercial driving and flatbed operation to navigate routes efficiently. Your experience as a delivery driver will be invaluable in maintaining high standards of service and compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.

Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring secure transport.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and communicate effectively with clients.

Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.50-15.00 per hour
