Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Class Two Tipper Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and delivering outstanding service. Candidates must possess valid driving credentials and have experience in commercial driving environments, particularly with tipper vehicles.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tipper vehicles, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness before each journey Deliver goods to designated locations promptly, maintaining accurate documentation of deliveries Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical upkeep of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance Follow all health and safety protocols throughout transportation tasks

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial truck driver, preferably with tipper vehicles Knowledge of mechanical systems related to lorries and trucks Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Experience working in warehouse environments is desirable Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely under different conditions Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during deliveries
