Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable tipper driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Can work as a self-employed or PAYE.
Duties
Operate a hgv class 2 vehicle Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports, documenting mileage and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with distribution personnel regarding loading schedules and delivery expectations. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Perform basic mechanical checks on the vehicle as needed, reporting any issues promptly.
Skills
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Experience as a tipper driver or delivery driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with muck away tipper lorry operations is an advantage. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues. A valid commercial driving licence is required for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
