Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 Tipper Grab driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Class 2 tipper grab lorry, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials to various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to dig and manoeuvre materials effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate the Class 2 tipper grab lorry in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Transport materials to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to maintain mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly. Assist with loading and unloading materials, utilising the grab mechanism efficiently. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections as required. Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle both inside and out. Collaborate with site teams to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the vehicle. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Class 2 vehicles. Ability to dig and manoeuvre materials effectively using the grab mechanism. Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and clients. Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently. A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations while on duty.
