About B&M Waste
Part of the Beauparc Group, B&M Waste is a leading waste management provider. We're hiring an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our Birmingham team.
The Role
Based at our Birmingham depot (B8 1AH), you'll collect and transport commercial waste using our modern fleet.
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Starts around 4 AM with paid breaks.
Key Responsibilities
Safely drive HGV Class 2 vehicles. Complete efficient collection routes. Ensure tidy customer sites. Conduct daily vehicle checks. Weigh bins and record data on a tablet. Follow waste regulations and driver hours. Report incidents promptly.
Essential Requirements
Valid UK Class 2 licence, current Driver CPC, and digital tachograph card. Good customer service skills. Physically fit for manual handling. Flexibility for occasional weekend work.
What We Offer
Pay: 14.85/hour base rate. Overtime: 18.56/hour (after 40 hours). Bonuses: 8p per bin + 18 daily completion bonus. Weekly salary and paid breaks. Full PPE and uniform. Training on different vehicle types. Career progression opportunities.
