we are currently looking for Class 1 drivers for full-time tramping positions. The work is general haulage on curtain-sider trailers, which all of our fleet is equipped with

Duties

class 1 lorry to transport goods to various locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by the company Follow designated routes and schedules while being flexible to adapt to changes as needed Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, promoting safety on the road

Skills

at least 2 years experience in HGV class 1 driving Strong driving skills with a clean driving record Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation

Our pay structure for Class 1 tramping drivers is as follows:???

?o?????Basic hourly rate: From 15.50/hour????

o?????Overtime (after 12 hours Mon-Fri): 20.00/hour.????

o?????Saturday: 20.00/hour.???

o?Sunday & Bank Holidays: 25.00/hour.?????

o?????Tramping allowance: 26.20/night out (tax-free)?????

o?????Average weekly hours: 55-65 hours.???

All of our trucks are fully equipped (fridge, microwave, and cleaned before assignment) to make the role as comfortable as possible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.50-22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 65 per week
