Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in Suffolk, this role is vital for ensuring the smooth transportation of waste materials, contributing directly to our company's commitment to environmental responsibility and community support.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport waste materials. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members. Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to meet operational deadlines. Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting when necessary.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or equivalent. Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in waste management or related industries. Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance. Strong understanding of safety protocols and traffic regulations. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and responsibly. Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.
