THE COMPANY

Harvey's Brewery is an established independent, family owned brewer, wholesaler and operator of public houses which has traded from Lewes since 1790. Harvey's has a turnover of 22m and brews a variety of styles of beer including Harvey's Best Bitter, Harvey's Old Ale and Harvey's Pilsner. It trades as a wholesaler of beer, cider, wines, spirits and soft drinks across the south east and operates a fleet of 7 large delivery vehicles from a central depot in Lewes. It operates 44 pubs including 10 pubs under direct management, as well as a brewery shop and webshop.

HGV Delivery/Dray Driver

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HGV Driver / Dray delivery to join the Distribution team at Harvey's Brewery.

Overview

Delivering products to our tied estate and free trade customers throughout the South East.

Key responsibilities include:

Unloading and loading of vehicles of goods including cask, keg and cases Representing the company in a friendly and professional manner Ensure the vehicle is loaded safely and accurately according to load documentation. Ensure that all legislation relating to driving is complied with, ensuring the vehicle is safe and legal by undertaking daily vehicle checks Completing required paperwork to the highest standard Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
Key Experience

The successful candidate for this role will have:

Appropriate level of driving licence for the vehicle, a current CPC and tachograph card Relevant driving experience Good geographical knowledge Experience working in a customer-focused environment with a commercial outlook
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 32,200.00 per year
