Victorian Sliders, the UK's largest PVCu manufacturer of sliding sash windows, is seeking an HGV Driver to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading manufacturing business.

Role Overview

As a HGV Driver you will safely and efficiently transport goods to and from designated locations using a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV), ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies. You will play a vital role in supporting the supply chain by maintaining accurate delivery records and conducting routine vehicle checks. We operate on 1 truck, 1 driver basis.

Key Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles (articulated lorries) for delivery and collection of goods Perform vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness before departure Safely load and unload goods, ensuring secure transportation Complete all required delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately Comply with all road traffic laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies Communicate professionally with clients, customers, and the transport office Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle Report any incidents, delays, or issues promptly to the transport office Follow schedules while ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained

What We're Looking For

Essential:

HGV Class 1 License Up-to-date CPC Qualification and Digi Card Minimum 2 years experience driving HGVs Good work ethic Punctual

Desirable:

No points on license

Pay: 38,036.25 per year plus a generous nights out allowance.

Please note this job is Monday to Friday but may require late Sunday night/ early Monday morning starts and minimum 2 nights out per week.
