Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our plant hire team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care.
Duties
Safely drive HGV's to transport equipment to and from designated locations including the loading and unloading of the equipment. Conduct pre and post-inspections of equipment in compliance with company policies and regulations. Secure loads properly and safely for transport, adhering to relevant safety standards and procedures. Communicate effectively with the Hire Controller, customers, and other colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements
Valid HGV Driver Licence. Previous experience operating HGV vehicles, preferably in a similar role or industry. A flexible approach to work. Ability to operate satellite navigation systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
