Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV Driver to join our team at our Barking depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified driver with the right experience to play a key role in our operations. In this role, you will be operating a modern rigid lorry up to 32 tonnes, fitted with a HIAB/vehicle-mounted crane, to lift, move, place, and deliver generators and, occasionally, cabins to customer sites. You must be comfortable working independently and have the skills to ensure all loads are safely secured and handled.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a HIAB/vehicle-mounted crane to transport and position generators and cabins Loading, unloading, and securing mobile plant and equipment Delivering to various locations, ensuring safe and timely transport Carrying out basic vehicle and crane checks Representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner
Requirements:

Valid HGV licence (suitable for rigid lorry up to 32t) Certified training and proven experience in using a HIAB/vehicle-mounted crane Sound knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and securing of heavy plant and equipment Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude Willingness to undertake further industry-related training (e.g. Safe Urban Driving)
