Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting skips safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. 2 years experience minimum previous skip work not necessary as training will be provided .

Duties

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-use inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload skips, securing loads appropriately for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety practices.

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving. 2 years experience. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Bonus Scheme of additional 50 per week.
