Haulr is a traction-only haulage contractor. We have an operating centre in Widnes that serves the UK's north west traffic area. We collect our customers' heavy goods trailers from site A and transport to site B.

Licence, Certification and Other Requirements:
Full UK driving licence in category C+E.
Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
24 months previous C+E driving experience.
English communication skills.
No more than 6 points on your driver's licence.
No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN).
'Right To Work' in the UK.
Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations (continuous training and refreshers provided).
Willing to undergo a DBS (Criminal Background Check) and Drug and Alcohol test.
Also, due to the nature of the role and the compliance with the WTD and EU rules and regulations, it is important that the candidate's travelling time is
no greater than 30 minutes from the postcode WA8
to home and back.

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Weekend working - available but not expected.
Expected hours: 40-50 hours per week.
Flexible shift pattern (based on operational/customer needs).

Pay Rate & Contract Type:
Contract type:
Full-time - permanent
with 3 months' probation period
Guaranteed 40-hours per week, paid at
17 per hour
(Approx. 35,360+ per annum), with overtime available.
Monthly pay as PAYE (smooth transition from weekly payment to monthly payment available)

Core Duties:
Moving customer box, flatbed and curtain-side trailers from Site A to Site B
Interact professionally with customers, representing Haulr's brand and values
Conduct daily pre/post use vehicle walkaround checks and report defects
.
Additional Duties (as required):
Assist with loading/unloading when necessary (training provided)
Support depot operations during downtime
Participate in ongoing training and refresher courses.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate HGV vehicles in line with all road traffic laws and company policies
Adhere to all Health & Safety and compliance requirements
Complete deliveries and collections to scheduled locations, ensuring timely performance
Secure loads in line with safety regulations and company procedures
Maintain accurate and compliant tachograph records
Complete necessary delivery and collection paperwork accurately
