HGV Class 1 (ADR) Driver - Industrial Gases / Green Energy

Pay:

17 per hour (PAYE) + 5 tax-free daily subsistence

Class 1 HGV Driver wanted in Cambridgeshire. 17/hr + 5 subsistence, 20 days leave, pension. ADR preferred.

Our

Industrial Gases division

is expanding, and we're seeking

skilled and motivated Class 1 drivers

to deliver high-quality service to customer sites nationwide.

The Role

As a

Class 1 HGV Driver

, you'll be responsible for safely transporting tanks of

Liquid Carbon Dioxide, LNG, other industrial gases

, plus various renewable materials, while adhering to the highest

safety standards

. You'll join a dynamic, environmentally focused team that takes pride in delivering a reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 1 vehicles, with ADR certification preferred. Conduct

pre-trip and post-trip inspections

to ensure vehicles and cargo are safe. Load, transport, and unload cryogenic gases and other materials safely. Monitor tanker condition and report any operational issues. Follow safety procedures at all times, including emergency response protocols. Collaborate with the safety team to improve operations and promote safety culture. Maintain accurate records and participate in safety audits.

About You

Minimum

3 years' experience

driving goods vehicles, with a safety-first mindset.

Class 1 HGV license

(ADR desirable). Driver CPC qualification. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexible attitude, willing to adapt to varied shifts to meet customer needs. Passion for contributing to a
