Job Summary
R L Schroeder Transport Ltd is looking for a reliable, professional HGV Driver to join our team for weekend night work. The work will be doing deliveries to Lidl stores.
Duties
Self-loading using onsite PPTs at warehouse and stores. (Training will be provided) Transporting refrigerated and dry goods (Frozen, Chill, Fruit and Veg, Bulk and Ambient) Conduct routine vehicle walk around checks and report maintenance issues promptly Secure loads safely (Straps and bars provided) Maintain a professional and open minded attitude to the work. Opportunity to stop out in the truck if the driver wants to - nights out and meal allowance paid. Canteen and showers also on site.
Experience
Training will be given to the right candidate. Valid driving licence and CPC 2+ years driving experience for insurance purposes. Good knowledge of fridge work advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 180.00 per day
