Job Description

We are a family run warehousing and transport business looking to expand our team due to an increased workload. Established in 1967, with growth year on year, we are looking for new team members to help continue our progression within the industry. We have a new fleet of DAF trucks in need of drivers.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, there are opportunities for curtain side multi drop deliveries, trunk runs to a pallet network and/or shunting to and from the Port of Felixstowe

Duties include, but are not limited to;

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of the vehicle Drive in a safe, professional manner at all times Carry out deliveries in a timely, safe manner, showing respect to the customers and their property Shunting to and from the Port of Felixstowe Trunk runs to a pallet network Drive the vehicle safely, in accordance with the law and driving regulations. Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle Daily checks of the vehicle to maintain compliance
Requirements;

Class 1 C+E (HGV 1) Licence Current driver CPC Valid tachograph card Excellent verbal communication
We can offer positions based on full or part time hours, the salary is open to negotiation.

Occasional nights out may be required (with meal allowance and night out payment).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: 35,000.00-48,000.00 per year
