Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated site locations in London and the south of England.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Load and unload materials from the truck manually or using appropriate equipment when required.
- Inspect the truck before and after each journey, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Communicate with site workers, office and yard staff to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and delivery.
- Keep the company's designated area of the yard safe, tidy and organised at all times.

Qualifications:

- Valid HGV class 1 commercial driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive a 7.5T truck with trailer.
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver.
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to physically load and unload heavy goods as needed.
- Familiarity with flatbed trucks is preferred but not required.
- Forklift qualification are desired but not essential.

Pay: 33,000.00-36,000.00 per year
