Job Overview:

We are subcontractors of TDS , who provide Pallet Haulage for Cheap & LPR . We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This role is mainly working with Flatbed Trailers transporting Pallets . Does require manual labour in strapping up pallets using Ratchet and Straps. Previous experience preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to operate a smartphone using the app provided to check in and check out collections & deliveries . This role is on a Self -Employed Bais paid weekly upon receiving an Invoice . It's a pay by drop system minimum 4 drops 160 (going up to 180 for the right candidate) with the ability to earn up to 200 per day depending on drops completed .

Duties:

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport Pallets , occasionally other loads

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe transportation

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a HGV Driver or similar role

- Knowledge of flatbed truck operations is preferred

- Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Physically fit
