We are seeking a professional and reliable class 1 Truck Driver for casual day and night shifts . The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Operate box trailers and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods. Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections, including checking tyres, brakes, lights, and load security. Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit. Adhere strictly to all legal requirements related to commercial driving, including hours of service regulations. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in driving commercial vehicles Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Delivery driver experience with a track record of punctuality and reliability. Excellent organisational skills to plan routes efficiently. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo safely. Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members. Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles, with no serious endorsements or restrictions. Pay: 160.00-180.00 per day
