Job Description
To transport and deliver product from BSL to the client safely and in within the time frame agreed.
Duties and responsibilities
Adhere to government guidelines regard working time and driver regulations Responsible for maintaining own CPC training Complete and sign paperwork as necessary Ensure Health and Safety, driving quality standards and procedures are adhered to Ensure vehicle defect notes are carried out daily Inform Workshop Manager and Transport Manager of any vehicle issues immediately Supervise the loading and unloading of product at customer and BSL sites Always follow traffic laws Always maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service Always maintain cleanliness of the driving cab Report any accidents immediately in line with company policy To provide support in the yard as required by the Transport Director

Good level of health
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Flexibility and Self-motivated Excellent communication skills with a good level of written and spoken English Organised to meet delivery deadlines Promote and maintain high levels of H&S standards on site and on the roads Excellent time management Relevant driving qualifications Hold a clean UK Driving licence Minimum 2 years HGV experience
